Globe Sidewalk Chalk Painting

Wow! You are going to love this artist's sidewalk chalk painting!

Okay, first take a look at the person standing on top of the globe. At first it might look like he's bending down to hit a golf ball, but that's not the case. He's actually supposed to look like he's holding the rope that is holding up the "Make Poverty History" banner that is encircling the globe painting.

Now at first, if you haven't seen any of these chalk paintings, you might think that the chalk painting is not entirely flat. And of course, since this is an optical illusions website, you have a pretty good idea that when we show you something, it's incredible. Now here is the globe from a different angle - not exactly what the artist may have intended it to be viewed, but it is kind a pretty collection of colors, isn't it? The important thing to see here, is how incredibly long he had to paint this thing... this painting is practically as long a short city block!

Now, your town most likely also has chalk drawing competitions, sponsered by some charity event, where groups who donate money can have a 6 by 6 foot square to try out their chalk drawing skills. Wouldn't it be cool if you signed up for one of these charities and painted an incredible optical illusion? If you do, please let us know! You can't do this with crayons ladies and gentelmen... only chalk! (And is it really painting with chalk? Or is it drawing with chalk?)

	Same Shade Diamonds Wow! It will look like the diamonds on the top are much darker than the diamonds on the bottom. Perfect and printable! This is a very strong optical illusion, and is even noticeable in the small image to the left. Doesn't it look like the top row is considerably darker than each successive row?
	Moving Red Spiral Sometimes, while I'm just playing around in Photoshop, something appears, as if by magic. This illusion was one of those that just jumps off the page. It's a large red spiral on a purple background that appears to jump and move. Works better for some people than others, but if you like the moving illusions, you'll love it!
