This puzzle will take you a long, long time to figure out. The shapes
are the same size, yet when moved around they cover the same surface
area, EXCEPT for the obvious missing hole in the lower right corner.
To really appreciate a magic trick, you have more fun not knowing.
I think this is an optical illusion that I'll let you figure out the
secret yourself if you really want (there's a simliar illusion on this
website), but I won't explain it here. You'll go on the rest of the
day thinking about how this could possibly happen.
Go ahead, count the squares one by one, get out a ruler and measure
each piece. Must be magic!
