For all illusions in this collection, use the expanded menu at the left.
For the rotational optical illusions, there are two ways to see the illusion. The first way is to move your head in and out from the screen. Focus on the center as you do this. This first blue illusion will also work with your peripheral vision, as your eyes naturally move around the page and the illusion, it will appear to move.
Use the navigation at the left to view all the optical illusion art in our collection.
For the First Illusion in this collection, check this out! Blue Ice Illusion: The circles will appear to move clockwise and counterclockwise depending on whether you are moving forward or away. You can also find this illusion in the Desktop Wallpaper section, so you can set it as your background on your computer.
It moves! You must zoom in to get the full illusion. You'll see the rings rotate, even though they are not moving at all.
We've created several sizes so you can use as your desktop background.
9/13/2011 - Floating Wood Blocks Video
Created these floating wooden blocks and attached them to a globe. Watch the video and see how the blocks follow the camera! Pretty amazing!
Moving Red Spiral - 7/27/2011
Sometimes, while I'm just playing around in Photoshop, something appears, as if by magic. This illusion was one of those that just jumps off the page.
It's a large red spiral on a purple background that appears to jump and move. Works better for some people than others, but if you like the moving illusions, you'll love it!
